San Luis Obispo Police Dept.

The San Luis Obispo Police Department consists of 90 employees, 61 of which are sworn police officers. The Department is divided into two bureaus, with a Police Captain commanding each. Police and Community Together (PACT) was created in 2017. PACT represents a committed and diverse group of community members and advocates that have partnered with SLOPD to affect positive social change through dialogue, education and understanding. (RSVP)
